Select Alert can send an alarm text to a phone using an email address format such as 1234567890@pcs.rogers.com. The service provider will then convert the email to a text and send it to the phone.

There are cases where instead of receiving the Alert text message on your phone, you receive a text message from your service provider saying you have a message but you cannot receive it because you're not subscribed.

This means your texting plan does not include email to SMS (text) conversion. Contact your service provider to get this feature.
