Hysteresis is 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.5 degrees Celsius) on Phason controls that have a fixed hysteresis.

These controls include MTC-3C, MTC-4C, SSC-1D, VTC-1D and FHC-1D.

Hysteresis is the number of degrees between the turn-on and turn-off points of a control.
For example, an SSC-1D set for 'cool' with a setpoint of 70F will turn on the fan at 70F as the temperature rises. It will turn it off at 69F as the temperature drops.
